| Payment and
Insurance Policies
When you come in for an appointment, you
need to pay for any services provided at that time. Please bring all your
insurance and Medicare cards with you when you come to the office. This
enables the staff to help you as efficiently as possible.
As a courtesy to you, Northeast Georgia
Surgical Associates, P.C. can file your insurance claims for surgical
procedures. Please remember, however, your insurance contract is a
contract between you and your insurance carrier. If your insurance
company does not make payment in a reasonable amount of time, we ask for
payment from you.
Our patient representative will be
available to assist you with a payment plan, if necessary.
Northeast Georgia Surgical Associates,
P.C. participates in some preferred provider organizations (PPOs) and
health maintenance organizations (HMOs). Because we provide specialty
services, PPOs and HMOs usually require that your primary care or family
physician refer you to us. We also participate in the Medicare and
Medicaid programs. The staff will provide assistance in helping you
obtain answers to any questions you have about insurance or payment
plans.
